Six years riding, three years teaching. I hold SBINZ Snowboard Level 2, NZSIA Ski Level 1 and SBINZ Park certifications from New Zealand, and I have been an official instructor at the Snowplanet indoor slope, The Remarkables and Coronet Peak in New Zealand. I speak plainly, so you will understand me. I am funny, so lessons are easy and enjoyable. And I am generous with praise, so there is no room for feeling defeated. On a snowboard I cover beginner lessons, riding progression, movement correction, carving, off-piste and an introduction to the park, as well as exam training for the New Zealand Level 1 and Level 2. On skis, from first turns through to moving from a wedge to parallel — no problem either.
