Hirafu
The largest and most popular resort in the Niseko area, with a wide range of runs — from gentle beginner slopes to high-quality tree and off-piste zones. On a clear day you can look across to Mount Yotei, and the night-skiing terrain here is among the largest in Japan. The village is full of restaurants and shops, making this the classic way to experience Niseko.

On the western edge of the Niseko resort group, Annupuri keeps a strong Japanese character and a quiet, forested feel — the most traditional of the four Niseko areas. Wide, gentle runs and comparatively light crowds make for a relaxed pace, and a good place for beginners to build confidence.
