Hello! I am Wakka, certified with NZSIA Ski Level 2 in New Zealand and CASI Snowboard Level 1 in Canada. If you are excited about getting on snow but afraid of falling, don't worry — I am particularly good with students who get anxious or get stuck. I don't teach under pressure; I practise alongside you like a friend, in a way that feels safe and has no pressure in it. I break complex movements into simple steps with clear logic, and make fine adjustments to your position. Seeing a student get past a difficulty or a fear and then smile on the slope is the biggest reason I love teaching. Complete beginner or an experienced rider wanting to sharpen up, just go at the pace that feels comfortable to you. I look forward to meeting you and unlocking the fun of this together.
