From Taipei, holding AADIDESS Level 1 for snowboard and CSIA Level 1 for ski. I have ridden and taught in Japan, New Zealand and China, and I train regularly on indoor rolling slopes, so I understand what carries over from the machine to real snow and what does not — which helps students adapt to real snow quickly. Efficient communication is the foundation of every lesson. I use a Cardo headset throughout, because I want to give you the best lesson experience: with that support, everything from one-to-one to group lessons runs more efficiently and more safely. I teach in both Chinese and English. I come from a science and engineering background, and I like to use enthusiasm and clear logic to build correct movement from zero and let you feel what the sport does for your body. Away from the snow I play tennis, head a software department and tutor English, and I enjoy swimming, yoga, skydiving, skateboarding and other extreme sports, so I have a solid grounding in sports protection and training. When a student improves and says "this is the most fun I have ever had on snow", that makes me happy too — and I look forward to the next time. Setting goals with you, reaching them with you, and enjoying the result with you.
