I am Eric. I hold CSIA Level 2 and CASI Level 1 instructor qualifications and I am currently teaching at resorts in Japan. Moving from engineering into ski instruction left me used to breaking complicated things into steps that are easy to follow, so when I teach I take you through the reason behind each movement rather than just having you copy it. I specialise in teaching from beginner through to early intermediate, and I have built up experience with children, adults and older guests. I believe every student learns at their own pace, so I arrange the lesson around your level and your goals and build your riding up steadily, step by step. I want you to leave the mountain not only able to ride, but knowing how to keep improving — and enjoying the freedom and the fun the snow gives you.
