Plenty of people think a first ski day is fine as long as a friend who can already ride comes along — but without steady footing, without knowing how to stop or control your speed, the day often turns into one fall after another. Precious holiday time and lift passes go by, and it is easy to get hurt or pick up habits that are hard to undo.
In this beginner private lesson your instructor takes you step by step — putting your gear on and off, standing steady on snow, controlling your speed and stopping, through to your first lift ride and a full run down — so you build the right foundations from the start. Lessons are taught mainly in Chinese, with Cantonese and English available, so you understand every movement in a language you follow and spend your limited time actually learning. Adults and children are not grouped together; each is arranged by level.
Half-day sessions start from ¥45,000, which is the total price for the whole group (not per person). Depending on how many people are joining and the lesson setup, it can go up to ¥120,000.
Just to let you know, that's the total price for the whole class based on how many people are coming, not the price per person.
Heads up, we've got different rates for peak season, but we'll let you know what they are when we confirm your booking.
The course fee doesn't cover lift passes, gear rental, or lunch.
If you need a hand with buying or paying for your lift passes and gear, just let us know when you book. Heads up, there'll be a small platform fee added.
