See the whole mountain before you step into it.
See the whole mountain before you step into it.

When you want to leave the groomed runs for the deeper mountain, what you need is not only fitness and skill — it is someone who knows this terrain and whom you trust to lead. The backcountry carries risk, and the difference in price for a trip usually comes down to whether the person guiding you holds formal qualifications and carries safety equipment. We put our trips in the hands of people who are qualified, properly equipped and able to take responsibility for the trip.

Backcountry Guiding is led in person by Principal Eden, or by a senior Level 3 instructor. From gear checks to route calls to snow assessment, every step is backed by process and experience, so your attention can go back to the riding. A full-day trip runs around 6 hours; your guide confirms the meeting and finishing times from the day's conditions.
