Robin Johnston is a ski instructor and instructor trainer specialising in alpine lessons, freeride, race and mogul coaching. He holds APSI Alpine Level 4 and PSIC/E Alpine Level 4 certifications, as well as the CSCF Development Level race coaching qualification and the CSIA Snow Park Certification. He is also a Level 3 examiner and trainer with both APSI and PSIC/E.

Robin's training approach centres on clarity. He helps trainees understand the meaning behind commonly used skiing terms so they can clearly explain what they are teaching, rather than simply repeat the words. By focusing on the “what, how and why” of each concept, he provides simple and practical teaching methods that help clients think less, do more and enjoy their skiing.

His career highlights include passing both Level 4 certifications on his first attempt, managing Stoke Sessions in Niseko for two years and, most recently, working with Rookie Academy.
